We woke up early in the morning and took the train to Bremen to join the
13th edition of Endless Grind Oldschool Skate contest.
That day turned out to be a sunny day and the contest seemed definitely
more fun than competition.
Oldschool skateboarders from all directions came
together to join this session. It was also quiet funny to see young kids
practicing Boneless and No Comply Variations.
Here are some pics:
Früh prügelte uns der Wecker aus den Federn – Treffpunkt Hauptbahnhof. Für eine handvoll Münzen spuckte der Kartenautomat uns das Niedersachsenticket aus. Das Ziel vor unseren noch zugequollenen Augen- der Endless Grind Skateboard Contest. Der Lokführer navigierte uns zielsicher zum Bremer Hauptbahnhof und von hier aus sollte es nur noch ein Katzensprung zum Schlachthof sein. Wir stoppten nur kurz und tüteten schnell einen Träger Cola vom Supermarkt ein, um damit dem Dehydrieren der Reisegruppe vorzubeugen, denn ein sommerliche Skatesession kündigte sich an.

wie auch immer, für uns ist und bleibt es die Königscobra und es ist schön anzusehen wenn sie durch den Park zischt. Dieser Frontside Noseblunt is zwar nicht Oldschool, aber dafür geschmeidig…

Scary news from 1977, skateboarding seems really foreign and extremely dangerous to the people, they think it might be a highly risk of injury - based on a statistic of the US, where 50.000 accidents happend caused by skateboards in one year, the germans get scared and the public authority wanted to place a ban on skateboarding in germany - haha… and now it’s unstoppable;)

Is he flying again? dead wrong, he is still flying. Jan Waage has more airtime than most of the others. Not long ago he captured the spanish airspace. That is why now he`s on the cover of the brand new Limited skateboard magazin…
Er fliegt wieder? Fehlanzeige! Er fliegt noch immer , denn Jan Waage ist seit eh und je ein bisschen länger in der Luft als die meisten anderen. Kürzlich ist er in den spanischen Luftraum eingetreten und schmückt nun das Cover der neuen Limited. Mehr davon!
Hab mir soeben mal aus gegebenem Anlass einen kleinen Stapel alter Monster Magazine aus den jahren 89-91 genommen um nach Bildern von Jan zu suchen. Er war in jedem! Hier zum Beispiel mit einem dicken Frontside Ollie beim Aes-Cup in Göteborg 1990…

New Skatepark in Hamburg!

Incredible – Hats off! Harry, the bread company (You know – The original spin doctors of the Clepto “Toast”, haha) made it possible and built a brand new skatepark, which opens doors in Rissen/Hamburg on 17th of july. The pre-opening-party with Sammy’s Super Show starts at 2 p.m. and the official opening is around 5 p.m.! For all riders there will be a best-trick-contest with 5 spots and a winning fee of 50€ for every spot you’ll burn! Musically underlined by Blockparty Entertainment, so it seems to be a quite nice afternoon to enjoy – Watch a teasing clip by the Über-boys here…

Found on Youtube: Some guys forged a brand new discipline for spending time doing nonsense – “Eel Parcour”, surely not the original from france, but from north germany! There is also a part II, maybe caused by the Malente collaboration with the Aalboys using this sequences for his track “Bring that lead back”. But we prefer the “Super Mario” soundtrack, it’s always a pleasure…
